We had a great few days in Kaiteriteri. We decided to spend some time relaxing on the beach and reading, and then spent some time exploring Motueka. The rains came down and left huge puddles all through the campgrounds, but our tent stayed dry. It meant that we did some exploring of craft shops and went to the movies in Motueka.  We headed through to Blenheim and spent a day doing a wine tour by bike (http://www.winetoursbybike.co.nz/ ). It was such a fun day! Over 7 hours we biked 25 km, visited 8 wineries (and sampled wine at all of them) and had a lovely French lunch at Georges Michel.  I hadn’t biked in years and definitely felt my muscles the next day. Marlborough has some wonderful vineyards and we discovered that we quite like Gewurtztraminer wines! We finished our time in the South Island returning to stay another night with my Dad.
