We took an overnight bus from Mexico City to Reynosa, and then took another short one to McAllen, Texas. Unfortunately, we had misunderstood the connections and woefully underestimated the hour and a half it took Reuben to get through customs (in spite of applying online previously) and so missed our bus to Galveston by half…
