Nashville, Tennessee

We arrived in Nashville, the home of country music.  We decided to walk into town, and headed in via the Bicentennial Mall, which gave us a great view of the State Capitol.

We also liked finding a giant map of Tennessee – here’s Reuben on Nashville.

Our main stop was the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame. We had a fun time wandering through this museum, learning about the history of country music in the USA and checking out the stars in the Hall of Fame.

The next morning before heading to Memphis, we went to see the Parthenon – a replica built for an expo and then rebuilt because everyone thought it was awesome. It was a fairly unexpected thing to find in Nashville!
